Business Development Manager
Oval Space and The Pickle Factory are seeking a driven, dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join their rapidly expanding team.
The Business Development Manager will report to the Head of Corporate Events, and will be responsible for venue sales and outbound business, as well as managing several key corporate client accounts.
The successful candidate will have: minimum 3 years experience; a demonstrable eye for detail; strong drive and motivation; and passion for events and providing an exemplary service. Exemplary interpersonal skills are essential, both for working within the team at Oval Space, and in a client-facing capacity.
Corporate events at Oval Space and The Pickle Factory range from large scale shoots for stills, TV and film, to conferences, art installations, product launches, private functions, beer and food festivals, high profile after parties and more.
To date, we have hosted events for some of the most exciting and established brands, including TEDx, London Craft Beer Festival, Red Bull, John Lewis, VICE, LEON Restaurants, BBC, Heineken.

Minimum 3 years relevant experience in venue event sales.
Must possess a focused and proactive approach to each enquiry, ensuring revenue is maximised for each booking.
Ability to multi-task and prioritise efficiently
Experience in negotiating and finalising venue contracts
Exceptional organisational, leadership and communication skills
Strong operational knowledge and experience working in venues
Experience in managing budgets
Experience in briefing and delegating to a team of on-site events staff
Ability to produce high quality post-event evaluation and de-brief
